Recently, new regulations have been passed regarding how we can handle specific types of transactions on your
account. As of August 15, 2010, we can no longer offer overdraft services on one-time debit card purchases and ATM
transactions on any account unless we have your permission to do so.

Important Benefit Now Standard on Your Share Draft Account

the best of us. Now, we have a solution that can help.
Courtesy Pay is a new measure of protection for your checking/share draft account. It gives
you peace of mind when you haven’t established your overdraft protection plan or you don’t
have quite enough funds available. It is your additional “line of defense.”

Important Member Notice:
Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act-(UIGEA)
Effective June 1, 2010, Baptist Hospital Credit Union is required to comply with the provisions of UIGEA and Regulation GG. This notification
is to inform you that restricted transactions, as defined under the UIGEA, are prohibited from being processed through your account or
relationship with us. Restricted transactions include payments made with a credit card, debit card, electronic funds transfer, and checks in
which a person accepts these items from another person in connection with unlawful internet gambling. By opening/maintaining an account with
Baptist Hospital Credit Union you agree not to use the account, any access device or service made available to you through the BHCU account for
conducting any illegal activity including unlawful internet gambling. In order to be compliant with the rules, financial institutions have the
right to restrict and/or block transactions from being processed. You may not use your account or any related service to process Internet
gambling transactions.
Enhanced Online Security for You
Security images must be selected to access Home Banking!
To further enhance our online security of Virtual Branch (Home Banking), a new level of authentication was added on January 14, 2010. This Multi-Factor Authentication will allow you to verify that you are using the official BHCU Virtual Branch website.
With so much fraud and phishing of websites today, this is a valuable tool that will help protect you and your personal financial information.
When you log onto Virtual Branch, you will need to answer a few questions. It will also ask you to select a secret image and phrase combination that you choose. This secret image and phrase is displayed each time you log on to reassure you that you are logging on to your actual Internet banking or bill payment site. If you do not see your image and phrase, you should not enter your Security Code.
Finally, it will ask you a few “challenge” questions that you can select and answer as you like. It will be very important to remember the exact answers to these questions. These questions will be used only to confirm your identity when you log on to Virtual Branch with a computer that is different from the one you typically use with Home Banking.
All of these measures will help keep your information safer, thus enabling you to have a better online home banking experience.

A credit union representative will be in the cafeteria from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month You may drop by to pick up forms, open a new account, ask questions, make suggestions, etc. We want to make a personalized effort to service your financial needs.
